Enterra President & CEO, Stephen DeAngelis, quoted in Fast Company Article on Robots CGT

In a Fast Company article entitled, “How Google’s Robots Can Learn Like Humans,” reporter Chris Gayomali focuses on Google’s acquisition of DeepMind, a British artificial intelligence company. In preparing for the article, Gayomali sought Mr. DeAngelis’ views on the acquisition. Mr. DeAngelis is quoted in the article stating, “DeepMind raises the possibility of allowing robots to self-train by observing humans or other robots and possibly do the job even better. This could drastically reduce the expensive programming time needed to deploy robots. … If a robot could learn a task by itself by watching experts, the ability to deploy robots quickly into a task at a low cost becomes more realistic.” Gayomali notes that Mr. DeAngelis is “CEO of Enterra Solutions, a company that specializes in cognitive reasoning platforms.”
