Admiral Harry Ulrich Joins Enterra Solutions as Executive Vice President Urlich to Lead International Security Affairs Practice RESTON, Va. (February 20, 2008) – Enterra Solutions, LLC announced today that Admiral H. G. "Harry" Ulrich, III, USN (retired) has joined the company as the Executive Vice President in charge of its International Security Affairs Practice. Admiral Ulrich will be responsible for all aspects of Enterra Solutions' International Security Affairs Practice which includes its Global Domain Awareness program as well as the company's overall maritime product service offerings. Drawing on his extensive background and expertise, he will continue to provide thought leadership in the maritime community. Admiral Ulrich joins Enterra Solutions following a distinguished 35-year military career. During his last assignment, Admiral Ulrich served as Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe and Commander, Allied Joint Force Command Naples. As Commander U.S. Naval Forces Europe, he was responsible for providing overall command, operational control and coordination of U.S. Naval forces in the European Command area of responsibility. As Commander, Allied Joint Force Command Naples, Admiral Ulrich had operational responsibility for NATO missions in the Balkans, Iraq and the Mediterranean. A native of Southampton, Pa, Admiral Ulrich, a 1972 graduate of U.S. Naval Academy, served in a broad range of sea and shore assignments, including seven sea tours with units of the Atlantic Fleet. During those assignments, he participated in eight deployments to South America, West Africa, Northern and Southern Europe and the Arabian Gulf. Prior to his assignment as Commander, Naval Forces Europe, Admiral Ulrich served simultaneously as Commander, U.S. 6th Fleet; Commander, Naval Striking and Support Forces North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO); and Commander, Allied Joint Command Lisbon. Admiral Ulrich's shore assignments included duty on the Joint Staff and the staff of the Chief of Naval Operations. He has served as Director of Cruise Missile Plans and Policy, as well as Director of Surface Warfare.
