Senior Lean Six Sigma Consultant
Job Summary:
Enterra Solutions is looking for skilled Senior Lean Six Sigma Consultants for assignment on external client engagements. This position will require significant travel, some international travel, and client site work. Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Facilitation of client meetings to discern business processes, process interdependencies, and corresponding data flow requirements, use of Lean Engineering, to include Value Stream Analysis
- Mapping and assessment of business processes to: identify operational activities critical to enterprise success, candidate processes for efficiency improvement, gaps in operational capability, opportunities for quality improvement
- Applying Six Sigma DMAIC framework, techniques, and tools to achieve quality improvement in business processes
- Authoring white papers and business proposals on the benefits derived from Enterra's business process streamlining within the Enterprise Resilience Management model
- Manage professional services projects, usually to include oversight of project budget, schedule, deliverables, and client expectations
- Participating in and leading Lean Six Sigma process re-engineering assignments across various industries
- Working closely with client's business leadership to develop key measurements and reporting requirements; facilitating business teams via project tollgate reviews
- Managing Lean Six Sigma client engagements
Qualifications:
- MBA Degree or equivalent from a highly respected program
- Minimum - 10 yrs. experience leading Six Sigma and/or TPM process quality re-engineering initiatives
- Minimum - 10 yrs experience in providing professional consulting services to commercial and/or government clients, direct project delivery/implementation experience
- Experience working in collaborative team environments
- Consultative skills with exceptional communications and writing ability
- Self-directed and motivated to work independently within matrix organization
- Experience working at major consulting practice or equivalent (e.g. Accenture, BearingPoint, McKinsey)
- Experience in directing and implementing Lean Six Sigma process re-engineering assignments across various industries, experience in applying Lean and Six Sigma facilitation and analysis tools
- Experience in managing client projects and exceeding customer expectations
- Expert in using fundamental BPR consulting tools and methodologies - such as Visio, Microsoft Project, Excel, Lean Value Stream Analysis, DMAIC, TPC
- Experience in applying Statistical Analysis tools, such as Minitab and SAS
Desired Skills/Qualifications:
- Implementation experience in Knowledge Management is a plus
- Experience with Oracle BPEL
- Knowledge of Ontologies and Semantic Linkages
- Experience with Rule Engines
Additional Information:
- 50%+ travel, some international
- Due to work performed in the Federal Sector, candidate must meet eligibility requirements for Security Clearance Purposes
