Samir Rohatgi joins Enterra Solutions with over 15 years of managerial leadership. As Vice President, Professional Services, Samir Rohatgi is responsible for consultant oversight, sound project management, and customer-focused service. Prior to joining Enterra Solutions, Samir was the Vice President of the Industry Solutions Group at MindBox, a firm that provides software and services to implement advanced technology solutions specifically involving the capture and automation of rules and policies. While with MindBox, he led the company's migration from custom consulting to market-driven solutions within multiple verticals.
Before assuming his role as Vice President of Industry Solutions at MindBox, he served as Vice President of Professional Services. Samir was a key participant in the creation of MindBox as well as its subsequent sale to MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates. As a cofounder and member of the executive team he had specific responsibility for project implementations and sales support.
Before joining MindBox, Samir worked as Director of Professional Services at Brightware, Inc., a company that provides software that utilizes advanced technology (rules, case-based reasoning and natural language processing) for e-commerce and automated email response as well as other custom solutions. Before assuming responsibility for the regional Professional Services group, Samir worked as a Senior Knowledge Engineer in that group and was responsible for project management, and software design and development for multiple artificial intelligence-based projects.
Prior to his work with Brightware, he worked as Senior Knowledge Engineer for the Inference Corporation, one of the pioneer companies in the commercialization of artificial intelligence – providing software and services for a variety of decision-ing applications in defense, telecommunications and financial services. While there, he was a team leader in software design and development for multiple Artificial Intelligence-based projects.
Samir has B.S. (with honors) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southampton (UK) and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
