Vice President, Chief Information Officer Enterra Solutions, LLC Randy Copperman, Chief Information Officer for Enterra Solutions, LLC, brings more than 26 years of experience in the defense and information technology (IT) industries to the company's Enterprise Resilience Management TM system. Before joining Enterra, Mr. Copperman was CIO and Vice President of IT for Raytheon Technical Services Company (RTSC). RTSC is a $2 billion division of major defense contractor Raytheon Co., with 400 contracts for 20 government agencies. While at Raytheon, Mr. Copperman directed the strategic planning, network architecture, help desk, network services, Internet and Intranet, annual compensation and performance development operations for an IT staff of 160. His areas of oversight had an annual budget of $30 million. Mr. Copperman's position also placed him on the company's executive team and as chairman of the business' IT steering group. Mr. Copperman's experience in the Raytheon structure extends past his work at RTSC. From 1997 to 2000, he was part of the Corporate Information Technology Office under the CIO at Raytheon. Mr. Copperman was not only responsible for the office's annual business plan, but also defined and implemented IT standards, platforms and architectures that were used company-wide. This included transaction security solutions for Raytheon's world-wide commercial network. From 1994 to 1998, Mr. Copperman served as Electronic Commerce and Collaboration Manager in Raytheon's Information Technology Directorate in the Tucson, AZ office. He led the then-Hughes/Raytheon E-Business group and spearheaded the company's Electronic Business Initiative. He also implemented the first technology based cost-cutting initiative in the company's history, saving Hughes/Raytheon $500,000 each year throughout his tenure. Between stints with the Hughes/Raytheon corporate family, Mr. Copperman served as the Collaborative Product Commerce Practice Managing Director for Atos Origin from 2000 to 2001. Atos Origin is an international IT services company, providing consulting, systems, integration and managed operations with 47,000 employees in 50 countries. Mr. Copperman's role included monitoring an annual budget of $12-$15 million, as well as performance, compensation, scheduling and work management for the employees in his section. Mr. Copperman earned his Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management from the same school. His ongoing commitment to best practices and continuing education has earned him distinguished honors from the CIO Certificate and Advanced Management Program at the Information Resources Management College of the National Defense University. He also served as Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Association for Enterprise Integration (AFEI). |
