Enterra Solutions, LLC, Expands Development-in-a-Box™ Operations in Iraq

Enterra Opens Office in Iraq's Kurdish Region

RESTON, Va. (November 26, 2007) – Enterra Solutions, LLC, announced today a major step forward in the deployment of its "Development-in-a-Box" solutions suite that assists economic and social development in emerging market countries with the opening of its Iraqi regional office in Erbil in the Kurdish region of Iraq. The Erbil office will give Enterra Solutions a direct presence in Iraq that will facilitate working with the U.S. Departments of Defense and State as well as the Iraqi Central Government, the Kurdistan Regional Government and commercial entities in the region.

"We see great opportunities in Iraq," said Stephen F. DeAngelis, president and chief executive officer of Enterra Solutions. "We believe our Development-in-a-Box solution will help build critical infrastructure industries such as telecommunications and financial services and will be an asset in attracting foreign direct investment and international joint ventures by helping businesses and government agencies to develop the necessary infrastructure and trading services to stimulate critical components of the economy and move goods and services from an emerging region to developed markets."

Enterra Solutions' office will be located in the Erbil Convention Center and will eventually house more than 50 local and expatriate Iraqi employees. Initial programs over which the office will have oversight include Enterra Solutions' Development-in-a-Box activities, its business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) trading exchange, a multi-lingual call center and other system integration, technology and international business development activities. As its presence in Iraq increases, Enterra Solutions plans to establish other offices throughout the Middle East as well as Central Asia and Africa.

"Our office in Erbil gives us an operational hub for Iraq and will further our relations with the Iraqi and Kurdish people. This presence in the region will give us a unique opportunity to implement our Development-in-a-Box solution as well as help in the economic revitalization of Iraq and the rapid expansion of the Kurdish region," explains DeAngelis. "We want the government, the business community and the people in the region to know that we believe in their potential and have cast our lot with theirs and we will work hard to make them successful."

Enterra Solutions' business activities in Iraq resulted from a trip that Mr. DeAngelis took to the area sponsored by the Pentagon's Task Force to Improve Business and Stability Operations in Iraq. The Task Force, led by Deputy Undersecretary of Defense Paul Brinkley, supports U.S. national security interests in Iraq by helping revitalize the Iraqi economy and reducing Iraqi unemployment.

Enterra Solutions recently announced a series of strategic alliances that will help ensure the success of its projects in Iraq. The Erbil office demonstrates the Enterra Solution team’s commitment to the region and applying the Development-in-a-Box will help governments and companies eager to gain access to cross-border commercial transactions through the use of trusted business practices and processes.
