Aram Zamgochian

Aram Zamgochian, Managing Director of Government Affairs, is responsible for representing Enterra Solutions as its government affairs lead. He provides Enterra’s clients and investors with firsthand knowledge of the political, social, risk, economic and competitive dynamics of the markets in which the company operates.

Mr. Zamgochian’s management and international government affairs experience covers various donor-funded and private sector technical and policy initiatives in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Nepal, Thailand, Singapore, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. His principal focus areas have been: energy trade favoring clean fuels; energy sector liberalization; energy sector planning and policy analysis; developing competitive markets for industry and energy; strengthening the local private sector to advocate for investment-friendly market reforms; regional cooperation in energy efficiency (standards and labeling); commercialization of clean fuel technologies; and executive-level peer exchanges to promote transfer of private industry best-practices in developing energy markets.

Mr. Zamgochian also serves as the Senior Advisor to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Iraq Business Initiative—an advocacy effort that brings key Iraqi and U.S. decision makers together, and offers business the platform to identify investment and partnership opportunities throughout Iraq. The Initiative is managed by Enterra Solutions, LLC. Prior to that, he served as the U.S. Chamber’s Chief of Party in India for the South Asia Regional Energy Coalition (SAREC), a business advocacy and private sector capacity building project that brought together public and private sector stakeholders to influence regional energy policy and reform throughout South Asia.

Mr. Zamgochian is a graduate of The Juilliard School of Music Pre-College and The George Washington University.
